Liverpool continues to search for a new winger in the summer transfer market, with a new target on the club's radar and an offer rejected.

Liverpool has had an offer for Brighton and Hove Albion star Yankuba Minteh rejected, as the Reds continue to push for a new winger in the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.
That's according to The Athletic, which claims that a bid in the region of £50 million ($68 million) has been turned down by the Seagulls in recent days.
Minteh, 22, has been on a list of several options for Liverpool so far in the transfer market, as the club looks to improve the wide options available to Andoni Iraola in the market.
The Merseyside outfit has been hard at work to bolster the forward line, with Mohamed Salah's exit leaving a clear void that needs to be filled.
Victor Munoz arrived earlier in the transfer window, with the former Real Madrid and Osasuna star offering some versatility and potential to grow further in the future.
Since then, attention has switch to potential superstar arrivals, with Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain viewed as a top-priority target over the past month.
It's a deal that is at a delicate phase, with club-to-club negotiations ongoing while a clear gap in valuation for the French international persists - despite a dwindling contract and a desire to join the Reds.
Barcola is viewed as a potential replacement for Salah in stature, but not in position, with the 23-year-old believed to be targeted as an arrival for the left flank, rather than the right.
Fellow PSG star Ibrahim Mbaye has been linked with filling that role, but after recent reports that interest may have cooled, it seems as though Minteh has been viewed as a possible alternative.

The Gambian international has shown plenty of promise in his time at Brighton so far, following a $41 million switch from Newcastle back in 2024.
In 73 appearances for the south-coast outfit, Minteh has picked up ten goals and nine assists, showing signs of quality without the raw output to back up his displays.
