Everton continue to be linked with a move for Chelsea striker Liam Delap, and could now potentially land him for cheaper than expected.
The Toffees wanted the former Ipswich Town attacker last summer and still hold an interest in him despite missing out on him to the London side.
At Stamford Bridge, the 23-year-old has struggled to make a mark and could be on his way out after just one season.

However, there's a belief among those in pursuit that a deal at Stamford Bridge for the striker could be agreed for £40m.

Moyes seems keen to bring Delap to Everton amid a lack of depth up front.
Thierno Barry and Beto are the two natural number nine options at the Scottish manager's disposal.
It's safe to say that the 63-year-old head coach was let down by his two strikers, who were inconsistent last season.
Barry has shown promise in pre-season, but it remains to be seen how he will perform once the new season starts.
A lack of squad depth was arguably one reason for the Merseyside outfit's underwhelming end to the 2025-26 campaign.
