WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Two-time NBA champion, author and reality television personality Lamar Odom will discuss substance use, a near-deadly medical crisis and his continuing recovery at Coastal Horizons’ annual fundraising luncheon in Wilmington.
The event, titled “Still Here: Lamar Odom on Survival, Recovery and Second Chances,” will be held on Sept. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wilmington Convention Center.
WECT’s own anchor and managing editor, Frances Weller, will sit down with Odom to discuss his professional success, personal loss and recovery efforts.
His experiences are also featured in the Netflix documentary “Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.” Odom starred with his former wife, Khloé Kardashian, in the reality series “Khloé & Lamar.”
