TEAMtalk allege that the old foes are among several teams who are “tracking” Chilean winger Darío Osorio, who currently plies his trade for Danish outfit (and noted talent producers) FC Midtjylland.

“Concrete enquiries” have been made regarding the 22-year-old’s availability, with Leeds United and AC Milan are also mentioned as teams who could be in the mix. Apparently Midtjylland value him at around €20m (£17m) and have already turned down multiple offers which came in below that mark.
They still “expect” Osorio, who has 22 caps for his country, to move on by the end of the transfer window, however. It’s not clear whether either Liverpool or Everton are among the teams to have made formal offers thus far, or whether they are both biding their time.
The 3AM Verdict: Both teams are in the market for a couple of new wingers and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they’ve taken a look at Osorio, who has developed at an impressive pace since moving to Denmark back in 2023. That said, it’s not at all clear that Liverpool or Everton have him at the top of their shopping lists, so it may be that we don’t ultimately get a heated transfer battle between the two bitter rivals.
Arsenal ‘exploring’ move for £60m wideman

Over to a story from The Independent’s Miguel Delaney now – he claims that Arsenal are “exploring” the terms of a deal to sign highly-rated Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz as their new left winger.
The 21-year-old Turkey international is said to be “high up on their list of targets” and they are currently working out whether a deal might be feasible. Juventus would apparently demand a minimum of £60m for the services of one of their star players.
It’s even suggested that Arsenal could offer Gabriel Martinelli as part of a package deal, partly so that the Old Lady get a replacement to appease a fan base who would not take kindly to Yildiz’s departure. It doesn’t sound as though a formal bid has been made as yet. It’s also noted that Arsenal would prefer to land Julián Alvarez, but have cooled their interest after the Argentine made it clear he would rather go to Barcelona.
The 3AM Verdict: Everything we’ve heard from Italy about Yildiz suggests that Juventus have absolutely no plans to sell the young winger, who they regards as cornerstone of their long-term project – it would certainly take a very significant bid to change their mind, likely more than £60m. We suspect this will prove to be a very difficult deal to get done.
Manchester City ‘working on’ Savinho replacement

We’ll finish up with a story involving Manchester City, who are “working on” a deal to sign gifted Palmeiras winger Allan Elias – according to The Athletic, at least, who suggest that the Brazilian is earmarked as a replacement for his compatriot Savinho.
With Savinho expected to join Tottenham Hotspur in a big-money deal before the transfer deadline, City are casting around for alternatives and are keen to land Allan, who scored six goals in 41 appearances for his club last season. Getting a deal over the line may not be straightforward, however.
Apparently Palmeiras have told City that he is not for sale, and have responded to initial enquiries by pointing towards the minimum fee release clause baked into the youngster’s contract, which stands at a cool €100m (£86m). No word on whether they would be prepared to pay quite that much.
The 3AM Verdict: Allan is attracting a lot of attention from European sides at the moment but Palmeiras are one of the few Brazilian clubs who aren’t easily strongarmed by a big chequebook – they’ve made a fortune selling players in recent seasons and now have the financial might to hang on to key starters. We suspect that City are unlikely to pay the full £86m for the winger, but could well be proven wrong. It’s not as though they’re struggling for funds, after all.
