Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk is expected to leave the club on loan this summer, with the Ukrainian looking to remain in the Premier League for this season.
After missing the best part of two years through suspension, Mudryk is back available for selection and has featured sporadically for the Blues during pre-season.
Xabi Alonso has been full of praise for Mudryk for how he has carried himself during this tricky period, and the fact he has remained fit despite having no match action under his belt.

Mykhailo Mudryk wants Premier League loan move
With Morgan Rogers, Estevao Willian, Geovany Quenda and Jamie Gittens amongst those ready to play out wide next season, opportunities look limited for the former Shakhtar Donetsk star to feature at Stamford Bridge.
Despite Chelsea having one more spot to loan a player to Strasbourg, Ben Jacobs believes Mudryk would rather remain in the Premier League if he is to move this summer.

He said on Market Madness: “Yeah, there’s one loan spot at Strasbourg. So, one possibility, but I get the impression those close to Mudryk prefer Premier League or possibly even other late clubs that might come in that could offer the player European football.
“Key maybe to Mudryk’s season is going to be playing every week, which means that Coventry, which has been long linked and have had a genuine interest, is maybe one option.
“But when you look at that kind of club that might have to be up for a relegation fight from Mudryk’s perspective, it doesn’t help him unless he’s going to be playing every week.”
Where will Chelsea finish in the Premier League in 2026/27?
Let's hear how you think Xabi Alonso will get on this season…
Chelsea have ideal destination in mind for Mudryk
It looks as if that loan spot at Strasbourg may be kept for a younger player, with Chelsea already knowing the club they’d love their player to go to.
The Blues want Mudryk to move to Coventry City, where he would have the chance to work under Frank Lampard again following their brief stint together in West London.
There will be a great opportunity for him to earn regular minutes for the newly-promoted side, whilst bringing them some much-needed pace to hit opponents on the counter attack.
