August 21 – Rimmel London has become an official partner of Chelsea FC Women for the 2026/27 season, in a deal blending women’s football with the beauty world.
The cosmetics brand, known for making beauty accessible and encouraging young people to feel confident, will work with the club across a range of initiatives celebrating its players, fanbase and the wider women’s game.
To launch, Katie McCabe, Lauren James and Lucy Bronze feature in a campaign spotlighting Rimmel’s Match Perfection foundation, a neat play on the football theme.
Fans can expect Rimmel to bring community experiences to home games throughout the season, including a pop up at the opener against Aston Villa Women on September 5, plus pitch-side LED visibility at every home fixture.
Chelsea Women’s commercial director Giulia Mazzia welcomed the tie up warmly. “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to bring together the worlds of women’s football and beauty, while celebrating confidence, individuality and self-expression, all key values our players embrace,” she said.
Rimmel’s VP of global marketing Janine Fernandes said the sponsorship is a natural fit, and a hometown one. “Becoming Chelsea Football Club Women’s official partner for the 2026/27 season is an incredible moment for Rimmel, in our hometown of London,” she said. “The club’s passion for female empowerment and resilience aligns to our values of self-expression and individuality, making our partnership a perfect match.”
As the women’s game grows, it’s attracting partners built around confidence, individuality and a young female audience, categories that once looked past the sport entirely.
