Tyjon is expected to undergo his medical on Friday afternoon as Arsenal look to finalise the move.
The 18-year-old has been on the Gunners’ radar for some time, with the club having previously made multiple attempts to secure his signature.
Arsenal’s interest in Tyjon dates back to last year, when the forward emerged as one of the most highly-rated young players at Blackburn.

The Gunners have faced competition and resistance from Rovers during their pursuit, with previous offers for the England youth international rejected.
That appeared to leave the two clubs some distance apart, but negotiations have now progressed to the point where Blackburn have agreed to sell their young forward.
Tyjon has also been the subject of interest from other clubs during his time at Blackburn, but Arsenal have continued to push for a deal.
The youngster joined Blackburn from Rochdale in 2023 and progressed rapidly through the club’s academy. He made his senior debut as a teenager and has also represented England at youth level.

Tyjon has featured for England up to Under-18 level and has established himself as a player with significant potential.
His versatility is another attractive quality for Arsenal, with Tyjon capable of operating through the middle as a striker as well as in wider attacking positions.
The move would initially be viewed as an investment in the future rather than a signing expected to immediately become part of Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans.
However, Arsenal have made the development of young talent a major part of their recruitment strategy, and Tyjon’s arrival would add another promising attacker to the club’s academy setup.
The medical represents the next major step in the transfer process. Should Tyjon successfully complete his medical and the remaining formalities be concluded, he will become an Arsenal player.
The agreement also brings an end to a lengthy pursuit for the Gunners, who have continued to work on a deal despite previous setbacks.
With Blackburn now accepting Arsenal’s offer and Tyjon scheduled for his medical, the transfer is edging ever closer to completion.
Arsenal supporters could therefore soon see another highly-rated young English forward arrive at the club, with Tyjon set to continue his development in north London.
