Can Ezri Konsa make his Arsenal debut against Coventry City tonight:
Konsa deal completed: Arsenal have wrapped up the signing of Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa for an initial fee of £51million plus £4m in add-ons. He's signed a four-year contract with the option of another year.
Coventry eligibility: He won't be able to play against Coventry City because he would have had to be registered by 12pm on Thursday - the last working day before their season-opener. The 28-year-old only returned to training last week after he was given an extended break after his World Cup exploits with England.
Likely debut: His Gunners debut could come against former club Villa on August 31 at Villa Park, in what is Arsenal's second Premier League fixture. It remains to be seen whether Mikel Arteta introduces him straight into the line-up.
Match details and kick-off time: The Premier League season curtain-raiser between Arsenal and Coventry takes place tonight, Friday, August 21, with a kick-off time of 8pm UK time. The match will be played at Arsenal's ground, the Emirates Stadium.
UK TV channel and coverage times: Live coverage in the UK will be on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR. Build-up begins at 6.30pm.
Head-to-head record: Historically, Arsenal lead the head-to-head record with 43 wins to Coventry's 14 victories across 76 total competitive meetings, alongside 19 draws.
