Arsenal
Adidas just don’t miss when it comes to Arsenal kits. The yellow and red details contrast nicely with the dark blue, and the subtle chevrons are a nice touch.

Man Utd
Another splendid blue top by Adidas, the red stripes sit nicely on top of the sleeves, while the retro collar and cuffs are lovely.

Leeds United
Similarly to the Manchester United jersey, Adidas have gone for a simple but pleasing design for Leeds’ away kit. The old club crest, which they never should have changed, is an excellent addition.

Ipswich Town
Umbro have done a bang up job with Ipswich this season, with their home jersey featuring in our list of best home kits. The British manufacturer can sometimes be accused of trying too hard, but the less-is-more approach has worked wonderfully here. It loses a point for the overlapping collar, but the red and black stripes on top of a light cream base looks marvellous.

Nottingham Forest
Oh, it’s that company again, finding beauty in simplicity. For all of the nonsense inspirations that shirt manufacturers cite for their designs, this one is very basic. Forest’s away jersey is deep green because, you see, forest’s are green. And the background pattern is made up of leaves, which you will find on trees in the forest. Very good.
