Bruno Guimaraes reportedly faces a spell on the sidelines, just weeks after signing for Arsenal.
The Brazilian midfielder completed a £75million move to the Gunners from Newcastle United on August 8.

Guimaraes made his debut in the 3-0 Community Shield win against Manchester City on Sunday but was brought off for the second half.
During a press conference on Thursday, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was asked about the 28-year-old's condition following the substitution.
"Let's see how he is," he replied ahead of their Premier League opener against Coventry City tonight, which is live on talkSPORT.
"He's evolving really well, but let's see for tomorrow."
How long could Guimaraes be out for?
However, as reported by Luke Edwards of The Telegraph, Guimaraes may be out for a few weeks with an unspecified injury.
It means he is set to not only miss the Coventry clash, but also upcoming tests against Aston Villa, Chelsea and possibly Sunderland.
Arsenal will begin their Champions League league phase campaign on either September 8, 9 or 10, with the draw being made on August 27.
Their opening match will come between the Chelsea and Sunderland fixtures in the Premier League - September 6 and 12 respectively.

Due to their Champions League entry, Arsenal are set to play in the Carabao Cup third round in the week commencing September 14.
An away trip to Brighton in the league follows on September 19, and then it's the first international break of the 2026/27 season.

Arteta's plans may have taken a slight hit with the injury
After being named in the starting XI against City at the weekend, it looked as though Guimaraes would appear from the off tonight.
However, Arteta will be without the summer signing for the visit of Coventry at the Emirates Stadium.
Declan Rice could be involved from the start as he was brought on as the replacement for Guimaraes on Sunday.
Myles Lewis-Skelly, who had been linked with an exit, might be in line to start alongside his fellow Englishman.
Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi are other options for Arsenal as they prepare for the start of their Premier League title defence.
