Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush.
After months of negotiations, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano finally gave his ‘HERE WE GO’ for Manchester City winger Savinho’s move to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening. He revealed that the Lilywhites have agreed a deal worth over £75m for Savinho, and that the two clubs are also discussing a move for Omar Marmoush.
Reports this week suggested that Spurs were working on a double deal to sign Manchester City attackers Savinho and Omar Marmoush. It is clear that Roberto De Zerbi is looking to add plenty of firepower to his forward line before the window slams shut. It now appears that the North Londoners are making progress in their pursuit of the Egyptian star.

Spurs have already agreed personal terms with Marmoush and are confident of sealing a full agreement. This demonstrates that the 27-year-old is keen to become a part of Roberto De Zerbi’s unit in N17.

The two clubs have reached a broad agreement on a deal valued at close to £70 million plus add-ons. The negotiations between the clubs have accelerated in recent days, opening the door for his move to North London.
The Egyptian international is set to arrive for medical at Hotspur Way and complete his formalities soon, becoming the second big-money arrival from Man City this transfer window. Marmoush and Savinho’s signings will highlight the Lilywhites’ ambitions to strengthen their attacking ranks before the September 1 transfer deadline.
Marmoush seemingly wants to relaunch his career in the Premier League with Tottenham, having found opportunities at a premium at the Etihad Stadium. He has played second fiddle to world-class striker Erling Haaland since arriving at City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 and impressed in patches.
At Spurs, the versatile forward will get opportunities to establish himself as a regular in De Zerbi’s XI. With his pace, movement, creativity, goalscoring ability and tactical versatility, the Cairo-born talent will be an asset to the London-based outfit.
