Liverpool are in the market for an attacker and are expected to be active in the transfer market between now and the end of the window.
Various sources have confirmed that the Reds are in talks to sign Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG.
However, yesterday, Liverpool had a £50m bid rejected for Yankuba Minteh, who is currently out with a foot injury.
And Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has admitted the Gambian international could leave before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Minteh is out with a foot injury and is expected to miss around 6-8 weeks of action.
But that hasn’t deterred Liverpool’s pursuit as they made a sizable bid to secure his signature.
Brighton rejected the offer, but Hurzeler admits Minteh’s future has yet to be decided as the Reds plot another offer.
“We know in general, all the players who there are rumours about are important players, they’ve been part of the journey over the last two years,” said Hurzeler on Minteh.

“It’s normal that if a team is doing well, then there will be a big ask for players. That’s part of my job here, it’s part of our identity.
“We can go through every individual player, we know how important they are but we know good achievements, big achievements, you create a lot of attention and therefore we have to wait now.
“The situation will evolve. I’m not here to complain, I’m here to find solutions.”
Minteh is open to a move to Liverpool if they manage to agree a fee with Brighton. The Reds want another winger regardless of what happens with Barcola, so don’t be surprised if they return with a better offer.
