Leeds United are said to be interested in signing Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk this summer on loan.
The Whites have limited time left to address each priority still present on the transfer agenda under Daniel Farke.
This window shuts on September 1st. And, Leeds have three or four more positions to recruit for, including the left-wing spot.
Leeds United interested in signing Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea on loan
Noah Okafor continues to push towards full fitness this week and is unlikely to start tomorrow. So, United need someone who can take some of the burden off the Swiss winger’s shoulders.
Leeds, now, are reportedly looking into the possibility of signing Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk – per talkSPORT’s Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs.
Mudryk, 25, has only just returned to professional football after a controversial four-year doping ban was cut short this summer. His last outing was back in November 2024 before being banned by the FA.
It’s claimed that Leeds are considering Mudryk as a potential loan signing out on the left, among other options on the 49ers’ shortlist.
Since, Jacobs has reported that United’s opening offer for Mudryk has been rejected by the Stamford Bridge club. However, Jacobs also notes that talks are ongoing between the two parties.

Mykhailo Mudryk on loan could be an absolute bargain for Leeds United
If Mudryk clicks, he could be one of the best wingers in the Premier League.
However, this potential signing comes with so many ifs that it’s hard to fully get on board with it. You have to wonder what condition he’s in having not played competitively for nearly two years. And that’s on top of his presumably huge earnings.
For Leeds, we need an explosive left-winger that can provide the same threat as Okafor, and Mudryk is that exact profile.
He’s struggled for consistency at Chelsea, and perhaps a drop down to a side in our situation would be much better suited to his skill-set.
Again, there are plenty of red flags here to go with the green. That said, I’m certainly intrigued by the idea of Mudryk in a Leeds shirt.
It would be a stunning deal, though. The talent is undeniable, and if Leeds are the club to tap into it, we have an absolute gem on our hands.
