Crystal Palace have opened talks over a potential move for Quinten Timber, the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber. The 25-year-old Netherlands international is currently at Marseille and operates as a dynamic box-to-box midfielder.
The twins began their careers together before diverging paths. Quinten left Ajax for Utrecht and later Feyenoord, while Jurrien stayed at Ajax until his transfer to Arsenal in 2023. Quinten joined Marseille from Feyenoord in January and made 16 appearances in the second half of last season.

Marseille value the midfielder at around €22million. Crystal Palace have included him on a shortlist of targets alongside Auxerre’s Kevin Danois, though no formal bid has yet been submitted. Porto are also reported to have held talks and could offer between €15million and €18million.
Timber is understood to favour a move to the Premier League. Palace’s interest remains at an exploratory stage for now. Quinten was briefly linked with Arsenal in 2024 but no serious progress was made at the time.
