Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI) has arguably had the best transfer window of anyone in the football world so far this summer, establishing themselves as a true powerhouse in the sport.
With Roc Nation known as a major force in the music world, they expanded into football back in 2019, with Michael Yormark taking his spot as the President of the company. In the six-and-a-half years that have followed, the agency now has an incredibly stacked roster, which includes the likes of Real Madrid superstars Vinícius Jr, Yan Diomande, and Endrick, Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli, and the new signee Karim Coulibaly.
"We're about to celebrate our seventh anniversary, and I remember it was almost like yesterday that I took a suitcase from New York City, got on a plane, came over to London, and we started this from scratch," he said.
"At that time, we had a choice. We could buy our way into the football ecosystem by acquiring an agency, or, as I like to refer to it, we could build it the old-fashioned way, and that's starting from scratch, and we chose to do that.
"I think the primary reason we chose to do that was that we really wanted to take our guiding principles and our successful playbook from America, and apply it to the football ecosystem here in Europe. And that's exactly what we did.
"When I sit here, almost seven years from that moment, this transfer window was our proof of concept. That was the dream. To represent the biggest players in the world, to be at the table with the biggest clubs in the world, and to negotiate the biggest deals in football."

One of the stories of the summer has been Yan Diomande's move to Real Madrid, which was completed for a whopping £120m, including add-ons, earlier this month.
The Ivorian had reportedly attracted the interest of some of Europe's top clubs after a breakout campaign with RB Leipzig in 2025/26, but it was the 15-time European champions who ultimately secured his signature ahead of their rivals. When asked about the deal and what came with it, Yormark revealed that it had always been Diomande's dream to join Real Madrid, and Roc Nation worked hard to make that dream come true.
"I remember the first meeting I had with Yan, and we said to him, 'What's your dream? He said, 'I want to be the best footballer in the world, and I want to play for Real Madrid.'
"Well, guess what? That dream came true, and so we are inspired by that. We're motivated by that, and you know, quite frankly, we want to do a lot more.
"I was inspired to get into this business because I felt that our playbook, the playbook that Jay-Z and all of his partners started when Roc Nation was started, could be applied very effectively to the football ecosystem as it relates to representing players. A big part of that playbook is making dreams come true."
Diomande is just 19, but was involved in the most expensive transfer of the window so far, having had just one year at the highest level of football, culminating in him representing his country at the World Cup.
Moving to a club like Real Madrid is often an issue that can affect even the most established names, due to the pressure and limelight put on them by fans and media. But Roc Nation has made it their mission to ensure Diomande will be successful if he puts in the work, and they are well aware of the talent they have on their hands.
"Yan did the work. At the end of the day, he put in a lot of work; he made a lot of sacrifices. He did everything the right way, and he put himself in a position so that these teams — Real Madrid, Liverpool, PSG, Man City — all the teams that showed interest were knocking on the door. But again, his dream was to play for Real Madrid, and he did everything he possibly could to get there, and he achieved the goal," Yormark said.
"It's arguably the best club in the world. There are much higher expectations. He's going to have to continue to work hard and make a lot of sacrifices in order to become the player that he wants to become. And I will tell you that he's one of the most highly motivated players that I've ever been around. So I know he's got the right mindset going into this challenge."

Another young superstar forward that links Real Madrid and Roc Nation is Brazil international Endrick, who has seen several reports suggesting that his future could lie elsewhere.
But that speculation seemed to be put to bed when Real Madrid handed the 20-year-old the iconic number nine shirt, which has previously been worn by the likes of Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema. Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Yormark believes that decision was a statement of intent by the club, and says Endrick is excited to be part of the squad at the Bernabéu.
"I think it was a major statement," he said.
"You know, Real Madrid loves Endrick, and I know Endrick loves being part of Real Madrid. It's a great relationship.
"I think giving him the number nine obviously instills a lot of confidence in the player. The player is coming off of a great season. Obviously, his loan to France proved to be the perfect move at that time. He participated in the World Cup, which was a great experience and also a great opportunity for him to play on the sport's biggest stage.
"You have to anticipate that Real Madrid will compete for lots of trophies this year, and he's excited to be a part of it."

Arguably the biggest name on the Roc Nation client list is Vinícius Jr, the Brazil and Real Madrid superstar who has been in the mix for a Ballon d'Or in recent seasons, and won two Champions League trophies as a star of the team.
But the story around Vini Jr this summer was about where his future lay, as he entered the final year of his contract. Reports suggested that there were issues between the parties over a new deal, and that led to speculation that Arsenal were ready to make a major push to bring him to the Premier League.
Ultimately, an agreement was reached that saw Vini Jr sign a new contract until 2032, bringing an end to the speculation, and Yormark has spoken about how close a move to the Emirates Stadium truly was.
"I think the only person that knows that is Vini himself, but you know, obviously, he chose to stay at Real Madrid because that's where his heart was," he said.
"That's where he wanted to be, and fortunately, things worked out. He's extraordinarily happy. It's amazing when you think about it. He's only 26 years old, but when you think about what he's accomplished in a relatively short period of time since he joined the club at the age of 18, it is extraordinary.

"I think in his mind he has a lot more that he wants to achieve, and he wanted to achieve it at the biggest club in the world, a club he's fallen in love with. So it worked out just the way he wanted to."
Reports had suggested that Vini Jr was open to a move to Arsenal if an agreement couldn't be found with Madrid, but Yormark says the priority was always a renewal over a transfer.
"I'm not the agent. You know, Fred Pena, my partner, is the agent from Brazil. I think if you spoke to them, they would say that, ultimately, the renewal was a priority."
"But you never know how things are going to go when you're negotiating an extension or renewal.
"I just think Vini put himself in a position where he's a super, super valuable player for Real Madrid. He's a player that a club like Real Madrid doesn't want to lose, and they did everything they could to keep him there, and now they move on, and hopefully win more trophies.
"Huge credit has to go to Fred Pena, Thassilo 'Tata' Soares, the team from Roc Nation Brazil, and all involved in securing Vini's dream extension,” he added.

Roc Nation will now go into the new season with three players competing for playing time in the Spanish capital at the biggest club in the world, and they feel that it's a 'blessing', but challenged everyone to keep pushing for more.
"It's a blessing because number one, Vini is happy, and that's the most important thing. And number two, he gets to really mentor Yan.
"I've got fairly close to Vini over the years, and he's absolutely the hardest-working footballer I've ever met. His dedication, his commitment, 24/7, is much higher than anything I've seen, and I think that that's going to set a great example for Yan.
"It's never about the agency," he continued. "Our job is to understand where the players want to be, and then do everything we possibly can again to make those dreams come true and those goals achieved. In the case of all three of those players, they want to be at Real Madrid, and so our job is to make sure that they're there. Then it's up to them to put in the work."

This summer, Sunderland midfielder Habib Diarra became the 12th Roc Nation-represented player to appear at a FIFA World Cup, while representing Senegal.
Alongside Diomande, Diarra is the proof of concept for Roc Nation that there is a pathway from Africa to Europe's biggest clubs and football's grandest stage. RNSI have now formally announced the return of the Roc Cup, an event that allows scouts from all over Europe to travel to Africa to watch youth players gathered together by the agency for a tournament that could potentially end up with contracts being handed out.
Speaking about the impact that it has, and how it helps Roc Nation, Yormark admitted that the goal is to make more dreams come true on the continent.
"We know the African continent is a great opportunity for us," he said.
"Over the last 12-15 months we've moved over 20 players from the African continent into Europe. Obviously, Yan Diomande is from the Ivory Coast, so he's proof of concept. We're recruiting in every major market in Africa: Ghana, the Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria. The list goes on and on.
"Earlier this year, we had our first Roc Cup tournament, which featured 225 youth players from around the continent, participating in a six-day tournament, which gave over 55 scouts from Europe an opportunity to see some of the best young talent on the continent. We're going to do that again in Ghana in 2027.
"So, we are investing in Africa. We are committed to Africa, and we want to make dreams come true for young African footballers. And as you know, their primary dream is to move to Europe and play for some of the biggest clubs in football."
Yormark: Hard Work at Roc Nation Starts Now

Despite a summer that has been nothing but positive for Roc Nation as an agency, the belief is that there is even more to come. So much so that Yormark has already begun to set goals for the 2030 World Cup.
"I think the World Cup was an amazing accomplishment for what I would call a young agency, right?" he said. "12 players on multiple national teams, participating for the sport's biggest prize. But I want more. I think we can do better.
"I think we had five Brazilian players on the Brazilian national team. I was talking to my partner Fred Pena, and he said, 'Michael, I want 10 in 2030'. We had one national team player on the U.S. team. I told our team, "I want five in 2030.'
"I would hope that by 2030, 12 turns into between 25 and 30. That would be my goal, and I think we can accomplish that."
When asked about the plans for the future, Yormark admitted that he has huge ambitions and dreams for the agency.
"When I think about the next 5–10 years, it's not about growing scale or becoming the most dominant agency in the business because I think we're going to get there," he shared.
"I'll tell you what my dream is. I want every young footballer who's growing up around the world, whether it be male or female, when they dream about the club that they would love to play for one day, I want them to dream about being represented by Roc Nation Sports International. That's my dream.
"I want every young footballer to wake up and say, 'You know what? If I'm represented by Roc Nation Sports International, I've made it. I'm with the best', and so if we can accomplish that, the dream is complete.
"If a kid can grow up and dream about playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona or Liverpool or PSG, why can't they dream about being represented by us, right?"
"We've got to be recruiting, and we've got to be leveraging what we accomplished in this transfer window, and we've got to tell that story to other prospects and let them know, 'See, if you tell us your dream, we're going to do everything we can to make it come true.'
