After completing Liverpool move, Ndukwe joins Levante on season-long loan deal
Through a statement on their official website, Liverpool have confirmed that Ifeanyi Ndukwe has joined La Liga side Levante on loan for the 2026-27 season after completing his move to the Reds this week.
Ndukwe joined Liverpool from Austria Wien and impressed during pre-season, delivering a composed defensive performance for Andoni Iraola's side.
However, the young centre-back is yet to obtain the work permit required to play in England, having not accumulated enough points to meet the necessary criteria.
Liverpool have therefore sanctioned his loan move to Levante, where he will have the opportunity to gain regular first-team experience and continue his development at a high level.
The Spanish club are reportedly set to cover his full salary during the loan spell, with no option or obligation to make the move permanent.
Eligible to represent both Austria and Nigeria, Ndukwe will now aim to impress in Spain before returning to Anfield next summer, where he will hope to challenge for a first-team place ahead of the 2027-28 campaign.
The dual-national defender played in the final of the 2025 Fifa U17 World Cup.
