Liverpool explore an ambitious move for the Real Madrid star as details of their approach emerge.
Liverpool are continuing to assess their options in the final stages of the summer transfer window, with the Reds still expected to remain active before the deadline.
Andoni Iraola’s squad has already undergone significant changes this summer, but further additions could yet be made as the club looks to ensure it has enough depth and quality to compete on multiple fronts.

The need for further recruitment has become increasingly apparent as the new campaign creeps ever closer, with Iraola making it clear that further additions are required.
Speaking to Sky Sports recently, Liverpool’s new head coach said:
“We will definitely sign some players. Some deals you have to wait until the end. But the end is the important picture, the one we will have on September 1. Because it is true that we are still quite thin.”
While a number of names have been linked with a move to Anfield as transfer deadline day approaches, one particularly intriguing rumour has emerged in recent days.
That is the possibility of Liverpool making a move for Real Madrid forward Endrick.
The Brazilian teenager has found his opportunities limited since arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu, and speculation over his future has consequently intensified.
Liverpool have been among the clubs mentioned in connection with the 20-year-old, although the exact nature of their interest had remained unclear.
Now, further details surrounding Liverpool’s enquiry have emerged.
According to Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, Liverpool made contact with Real Madrid to explore the possibility of signing Endrick.
The Reds reportedly wanted to establish whether a loan deal containing an option to buy could be negotiated, while they were also prepared to investigate the possibility of a permanent transfer.
The Italian journalist claims that Liverpool were willing to consider making a “big proposal” for the highly-rated forward, highlighting the level of interest from the club.
However, any potential deal appears to have hit an immediate obstacle.
Real Madrid rejected the approach, with Fabrizio Romano stating that both club president Florentino Pérez and head coach José Mourinho said no to the possibility of Endrick leaving the Spanish giants.
It means Liverpool’s interest may not progress any further this summer, despite the club making contact to establish what could potentially be possible.
Endrick remains one of the most highly-rated young forwards in world football, having made his move to Madrid after establishing himself in Brazil.
For Liverpool, the enquiry demonstrates that the club is continuing to explore ambitious opportunities in the closing stages of the window, even if securing a deal for Endrick currently looks extremely difficult.
