Championship outfit Burnley have announced the signing of promising Nigerian-born defender Emmanuel Airoboma in a statement on their official website.

Airoboma has signed a one-year deal with Burnley that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027, with the Clarets holding an option to extend his contract for the 2027-28 season.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Airoboma stated: "It’s good to be here.

"Burnley is a big club, so it’s a good place for me to be develop and hopefully push on.

"The facilities are very good, and all of the staff have been really nice, so it’s been easy to settle in.

"I like to progress the ball, be aggressive, and win my one-on-one duels. I pride myself on that and I look forward to playing against the best players in the country".

During his time at Liverpool, Airoboma represented the club in the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2 and UEFA Youth League.
