David Oduro will not continue at FC Barcelona. The Barça Atletic left-back, who joined the club two years ago and had a contract until 2027, will continue his career with Annecy in France’s second division.
The Haute-Savoie club announced his arrival on Saturday.
Oduro was one of the players Barça signed from Africa, alongside Aziz Issah and Ibrahim Diarra.
His first season was disrupted by bureaucratic issues that took several weeks to resolve, limiting him to just ten appearances. His role increased last season, when he played 23 matches.

However, now the 20-year-old Ghanaian defender has parted ways with Barcelona, moving to France.
Changes at left-back
Juliano Belletti will have some new faces at left-back this season. Neither Oduro nor Jofre Torrents, who joined Ajax, will remain with Barça Atletic.
The club has brought in Josué Caicedo, who has made a good impression during pre-season, to strengthen the position. Barça must also decide where Jordi Pesquer will play after spending time training with the first team.
The squad also includes Alex Walton and Patricio Pacifico, although the latter will not be available for sometime as he recovers from an ACL injury. Belletti has also tried Landry Farre at left-back.
