There is plenty of interest again in how the Chelsea loanees get on this season, with promising winger Ryan Kavuma-McQueen getting off to an electric start at Portsmouth.
Kavuma-McQueen was given a chance to appear during the first team’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia, where he made an impression on new manager Xabi Alonso.
This came after being given minutes in the FA Cup by Liam Rosenior, and being spoken about very highly by those around the academy who have watched him develop.

This season has seen him secure his first loan spell in senior football to Portsmouth, where he made his debut off the bench last weekend against QPR.
Portsmouth fans were very impressed with the youngster, and it was clear it wouldn’t be long before he proved himself to be an important player in the first XI.

The Cobham star was handed a first start against Lincoln City, and took just eight minutes to find the net to give his side the lead.
Kavuma-McQueen drove down the left all the way into the penalty area, before hitting a sweet strike into the bottom corner via a minor deflection.
The youngster has immense potential to deliver for the Chelsea first team in the future, and taking his chance in the Championship is setting the perfect example for other young talents need to impress this season.
Dastan Satpayev looking for same impact as Kavuma-McQueen on loan
Dastan Satpayev scored for the Blues during their pre-season campaign, and will get his chance to further his development in English football at Burnley.
The Clarets are searching an instant return to the Premier League after their relegation, and will be looking to the teenager to help with their goal tally.
As Chelsea so often do, they have made sure there are assurances in the loan deal that will see Satpayev get regular opportunities for minutes this season.
He will be hoping that he can have an instant impact like Kavuma-McQueen, who already looks like he is going to be a fan favourite on the South Coast this season.
