Here's everything you need to know ahead of Everton vs Crystal Palace this weekend:
Match details: The Premier League clash between Everton and Crystal Palace is officially scheduled to take place this weekend on Saturday, August 22. The match has a 3pm kick-off time and will take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
UK TV channel: Due to the traditional Saturday 3pm broadcasting blackout rules enforced across English football, there will be no live television channel showing the full 90 minutes of the match in the UK. Fans can still tune into Sky Sports News for the popular Soccer Saturday programme, where comprehensive score updates and live studio coverage starts at exactly 12pm.
Live stream options: Because of the very same broadcasting blackout regulations, there is no official live video stream legally available for UK residents to watch online or via any mobile apps. Nevertheless, dedicated fans of the two clubs can stream live audio commentary online using the Official Crystal Palace App via a Palace TV+ subscription.
How to watch in the US: Supporters who are based in the United States will have a much easier time watching the fixture, as they can catch the game live on television via the USA Network. In addition to traditional cable options, the match can be streamed live via the NBC Sports platforms or the Peacock app, with the match kicking off at 10am ET.
Team news: Everton will be without midfielders James Garner (groin) and Tim Iroegbunam (abductor), who are both officially ruled out of the contest, while summer signing Christian Norgaard is doubtful due to a recent knock. On the other side, Crystal Palace have Adam Wharton available again following an injury scare but they will need to take a late decision on goalkeeper Dean Henderson after he twisted his ankle in a pre-season meeting with Freiburg.
Head-to-head record: Historically, Everton has completely dominate the head-to-head record, with 12 victories to Palace's 3, alongside 11 draws, across their 26 previous Premier League meetings. Everton won the first meeting between the sides at Hill Dickinson Stadium, in October 2025, thanks to a last-minute winner from Jack Grealish.
