Liverpool are set for a busy end to the summer transfer window.
Despite already signing three players, the Reds are on the lookout for at least one attacker as Andoni Iraola is short of quality options on the wings.
The likes of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye have been linked, but everything depends on whether PSG decide to lower their demands.
Liverpool have also had two offers rejected for Yankuba Minteh, who Brighton have been unwilling to sell so far.
But now, a local Gambian journalist, who has been spot on in this transfer saga so far, has delivered a positive update on the situation.

Minteh is currently out with a foot injury and is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks.
However, that hasn’t deterred Liverpool from making an offer to sign him, as he is a player they have courted for several years now.
Foday Manneh reports that personal terms will not be an issue if the two clubs agree a fee – which is expected to be in the region of £70m – with all parties hopeful of reaching a deal.

He wrote on X: “Yankuba Minteh is waiting to see how talks between Liverpool and Brighton progress before agreeing personal terms, but this is not expected to be an issue.
“Talks are advanced, with all parties hopeful of reaching a deal. Around £70m is set.”
Things seem to be headed in the right direction, but Liverpool face a race against time as they are in talks to sign multiple attackers.
They need to get a move on soon, which will also allow Brighton to sign a suitable replacement if the deal goes through.
