Crystal Palace ace Chadi Riad was carried off the pitch in tears during Saturday's Premier League opener against Everton. The Moroccan defender joined Palace back in 2024, but has been blighted by injuries in each of his two full seasons with the Eagles.
Riad managed just three senior appearances in his first campaign with the club after suffering a cruciate ligament tear and a series of long-term knee injuries.
He returned midway through last season, but only managed a further 12 appearances in the second half of the campaign. It looks as if his body has once again given up on him, as Riad went down in the second half of the clash with Everton and needed to be stretchered off by the medical staff.
