Emerson Nwaneri scored a late consolation goal but Arsenal U18s are still searching for their first win of the season after suffering a 3-1 defeat at home to Ipswich Town today.
Theo Odaji-Ukueku came into the starting lineup as Saurap Sampang was with the U21s, while Jayden Oba made his competitive debut at this level after suffering an injury in the warmup in the goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Ipswich took the lead in the 29th minute with Chris Atherton finding the net.
Atherton added another goal five minutes before half time with former Gunner Jayden Adetiba providing the assist on this occasion.
Arsenal made a triple substitution after the break as Maalik Hashi, Bowen Phillips and Joshua Sesay all came on.
However, Ipswich proceeded to add another goal as Atherton completed his hat-trick.
There were further alterations as Gabriel Arteta and Joshua Tahou entered the fray, the latter making his return from injury.
Tahou went on to set up Arsenal’s first goal of the season as he provided the assist for Nwaneri.
Arsenal face Blackburn away in midweek in their opening Premier League Cup fixture.
