Liverpool are in the market to sign an attacking player or two before the summer transfer window ends.
The Reds remain in talks for Bradley Barcola, Yankuba Minteh and Ibrahim Mbaye as they face a race against time to get deals over the line.
If multiple attackers join the club, Cody Gakpo could leave Liverpool amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Dutchman has been heavily linked with a move to North London and rumours about his potential departure have just not died down.
Now, however, reports from the Netherlands have revealed some interesting details.
Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo’s Tottenham links gone quiet
Joost Blaauwhof wrote on X: “For now, there is radio silence between Liverpool and Spurs regarding Cody Gakpo.
“As long as Bradley Barcola is not at LFC, a deal with Tottenham appears highly unlikely. All parties know where they stand. If Barcola arrives, it will be up to Gakpo.”

Gakpo is valued at around £72m by Liverpool, who are under no pressure to sell him as he is tied down at the club until 2030.
However, if the Reds sign multiple attackers and Tottenham make a massive bid for him, we can’t rule out his departure at this stage.
This is a transfer that has a lot of moving parts, making it impossible to call at this stage of the window.
