Tyreek Hill is still a free agent, and the eight-time Pro Bowler and five-time First-Team All-Pro is perhaps the most intriguing player remaining on the open market. After character concerns caused him to fall to the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Hill spent the past decade establishing himself as one of the most dangerous and electric receivers in NFL history. Originally dominating with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Oklahoma State product earned a spot on the Hall of Fame team and played a pivotal role in helping Kansas City win its first Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes.
The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in 2022, and he proved that he could still dominate away from Arrowhead. Paired with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Hill had his most dominant seasons in Miami and finished the 2023 season with 119 receptions for a league-best 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. However, his production dipped in 2024 and a gruesome knee injury limited him to just four games in 2025. The Dolphins cut him after the season, and he has yet to find a new team. However, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, made it clear the veteran probably won’t be signing any time soon.
“Tyreek Hiill is gonna take his time and pick the right team,” Rosenhaus said during a recent appearance The Pat McAfee Show. “He’s gonna come back fully healthy and he wants to help a team win the Super Bowl.”

Tyreek Hill Not Expected to Sign Until Fully Healthy, Wants to Join A Contender
Only time will tell which teams will be in the Super Bowl race when Tyreek Hill is ready to sign, but the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs feel like two of the most likely fits.
Hill’s history with Kansas City is the biggest reason for the potential reunion, but the Chiefs could also use another wide receiver. Despite winning two Super Bowls without Tyreek Hill, Kansas City has yet to find a proper replacement for his role in the offense. 2023 second-round pick Rashee Rice has stepped up as the focal point of the passing attack, but the fourth-year veteran does most of his damage in the short and intermediate part of the field. First-round pick Xavier Worthy was supposed to be this team’s next great deep threat, but he has yet to live up to his draft potential. Former Patriot Tyquan Thornton has made a few big plays for the team, but he’s not reliable enough to be a consistent threat in the passing attack.
Adding to the uncertainty is Travis Kelce’s age. While he is still one of the better tight ends in the league, he’s much closer to the end of his career than the beginning and is no longer the unstoppable force he was early in his career. Tyreek Hill might not be a game-changing threat at this stage in his career, but it can’t hurt to add more weapons to this passing attack. Add in the fact that Mahomes is returning from a torn ACL of his own and probably won’t have his patented mobility early in the season, and the Chiefs should at least kick the tires on Hill to see if he has anything left in his tank.
Fit With the Ravens
Lamar Jackson could certainly use another set of hands. While Zay Flowers has established himself as the unquestioned top option in the passing attack, the rest of the room could use some improvement. Rashod Bateman has had his moments throughout his career, but the former first-round pick is coming off a disappointing 19-catch, 224-yard performance in 2025. Additionally, there’s a very real chance that his recent legal woes could force him to miss a decent chunk of the season.
If nothing else, Tyreek Hill can provide some veteran insurance and help Baltimore compete in what should be a competitive AFC.
