The New Orleans Saints dropped its preseason game to the Los Angeles Rams, 34-0. The Saints will return to action for the team's preseason finale at the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, August 28. The contest aAT&T Stadium will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be regionally televised on Gray Media's network of stations (WVUE FOX 8 in the greater New Orleans area).
The Saints finished with 293 total net yards. New Orleans was 20-of-35 for 196 passing yards and had 105 rushing yards on 26 carries.
QB Zach Wilson got the start and finished the game completing 6-of-12 passes for 55 yards and one interception, while carrying four times for 19 yards.
QB Spencer Rattler finished the game completing 14-of-23 passes for 141 yards and one interception, while carrying five times for 21 yards.
RB Kendre Miller made his preseason debut and led the Saints rushing attack with 22 yards on six carries.
RB Ty Chandler also added 21 rushing yards on six carries.
RB CJ Donaldson finished with 15 rushing yards on three carries and led the Saints in receiving yards with four catches for 51 yards.
Donaldson had a 32-yard reception in the third quarter that took New Orleans inside the red zone.
