Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham 'will sign' Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, with the Citizens having a replacement lined up already in the form of Palmeiras frontman Allan.
Spurs are looking to close a double deal with City, with a deal to sign Savinho already agreed and just waiting on official confirmation from the two clubs that the transfer has got over the line.
And Marmoush is set to follow the Brazilian to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with reports suggesting that City could recoup around £160million for the two players.
Tottenham are in need of attacking reinforcements, as their opening day display against Brentford showed.
Spurs got the new 2026/27 Premier League season off to a horrific start, going down to a dismal 3-0 defeat away at Brentford. They were second best in almost every department on the pitch, with head coach Roberto De Zerbi admitting he could see a defeat coming.

De Zerbi said: "I knew after the Hoffenheim game, I said we are not in the right point, we are late for the start of the Premier League. But it's a step, we have to improve quickly.
"Anyway, we could fight stronger than we did today. We lost too many duels, we made too many mistakes in the timing when we wanted to push the pressure higher. We arrived second for the second ball, we didn't win one second ball, one duel, one tackle, and it's tough.
De Zerbi should have Savinho and Marmoush to work with heading into the second game of the season against Newcastle United next weekend, after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed City were in talks over a replacement for the Egyptian forward.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "What I can tell you now guys is that a few minutes ago there was new direct contact between Manchester City and Palmeiras for the 22-year-old winger Allan and Palmeiras are going very, very strong for this one. They absolutely confirmed to Manchester City that their original intention was to keep the player but my understanding is that Manchester City are ready to pay a little bit more than €40million with add-ons and so the structure of the deal is going to be around a total of €40million plus some add-ons and Manchester City are very confident now to close the deal in the next 24 to 48 hours."
