With injuries to the Cleveland Browns' defensive line, the team went out to try to find some help to fill the void. At first, many thought that Za'Darius Smith would be making a reunion, until he was swooped up by Kevin Stefanski and the Atlanta Falcons at the last minute.
That led the Browns to search for another avenue, and they landed on Derek Barnett, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
“Defensive end Derek Barnett is signing with the Cleveland Browns on a one-year deal up to $5.5M, per source. The former first-round pick is back for Year 10, spent previous three years in Houston,” Fowler wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
