What did Pro Football Focus think of how the Vikings played against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium? Here’s a look at the player grades from their 13-3 loss to the Ravens:
#### Top 3 on offense (minimum 15 snaps)
Zavier Scott … 75.2
Tai Felton … 69.3
Dillon Bell … 67.9
**Analysis:** The top performers in the eyes of PFF all stood out in real time for the Vikings. There were a number of solid runs from Scott working out of the backfield. There was a contested catch from Felton that went for a gain of 50 yards. There were multiple big plays from Bell when the ball was in his hands. It’s also notable that Carson Wentz had grade of 64.1. That was the highest grade of any quarterback on the roster by a wide margin.
#### Bottom 3 on offense (minimum 15 snaps)
Max Brosmer … 37.9
Michael Jurgens … 46.6
Demond Claiborne … 47.1
**Analysis:** The struggles from Brosmer were apparent; he never seemed to get into a rhythm. He also threw an interception toward the end of the game that drastically affected his grade in the end. As for J.J. McCarthy, he finished with a grade of 49.1, which could have been much better had he been able to connect with Myles Price on an easy throw in the red zone that should have gone for a touchdown. Starter Kyler Murray didn’t play.
#### Top 3 on defense (minimum 15 snaps)
Elijah Williams … 86.5
Jacob Thomas … 84.6
Tyler Batty … 82.0
**Analysis:** The potential of Williams was on display as he made the most of his opportunities on the defensive line. He was credited a pressure while rushing the passer, as well as a couple of stops while clogging up the running lanes. The continued improvement of Thomas was notable, as well; he flew around the field with reckless abandon and almost logged another interception.
#### Bottom 3 on defense (minimum 15 snaps)
Smith Vilbert … 30.2
Caleb Banks … 48.1
Domonique Orange … 50.2
**Analysis:** It’s pretty clear that Banks and Orange are getting accustomed to the size and speed of their opponents at the highest level. There were some growing pains throughout the game for both rookie defensive linemen. They particularly struggled on run plays.
