Sunday afternoon saw two Championship stalwarts do battle, but both sides included two Chelsea youngsters. Jimmy-Jay Morgan got the better of it, as West Brom beat Dastan Satpayev’s Burnley.
The Baggies secured a 3-1 win at the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon, and while Morgan was unable to add to his tally, he still notched another assist – taking his tally to five goals and assists in three games.

Morgan has made a sensational start to life at West Brom since his £4m move to the Midlands. But Chelsea’s scouts will have been keeping a closer eye on Kazakhstan wonderkid Satpayev on his debut.
The youngster, who only turned 18 at the start of the month and could only play as a trialist during pre-season, was loaned to Burnley last week. On Sunday, he came on for the last 30 minutes of the match.
What Burnley fans thought of Dastan Satpayev after his debut
With Burnley trailing 2-1 to the impressive West Brom, Satpayev was introduced with just over 30 minutes left to play. However, eight minutes after coming on, Northern Ireland star Isaac Price scored a penalty.

Little Satpayev could do, yet his cameo left an impression on a handful of Burnley supporters. Many were impressed with the Chelsea loanee’s performance, and some even suggested he needs to start games.
It won’t come as a surprise to know that only a handful of Burnley fans were active on social media after the result, with West Brom cruising to a 3-1 win. However, some supporters did praise the Blues teen.
One was so impressed with Satpayev’s cameo role that he posted “better than Bruun Larsen”, who has eight caps for Denmark to his name. “I want Satpayev starting the next game” was another verdict.
Dastan Satpayev could make his full debut on Wednesday night
The Kazakhstan ace is just one of a handful of players loaned to Football League clubs this summer. At Portsmouth, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen opened his account for Portsmouth during a win against Lincoln.

Reggie Walsh also earned plaudits during his Wigan display on Saturday, despite the Latics suffering a second successive League One defeat. On Wednesday night, Satpayev could be in from the start.
Burnley go to Bradford City in the second round of the Carabao Cup, with Chelsea facing Luton Town on Thursday night after their season opener against Fulham on Monday. Satpayev could get his first start.
