The Seattle Seahawks faced the Tennessee Titans in a preseason clash on Sunday at Nissan Stadium, and it did not take long for the reigning champions to remind everyone that they are still the team to beat.
The Seahawks took an early lead just a few minutes into the game after Drew Lock connected with Elijah Arroyo for a 36-yard touchdown.
With 5:51 left in the first quarter, Seattle followed it up with an even bigger play. Lock handed off the ball to Jacardia Wright, who punctured the defense, fired up the jets, and ran all the way for a 69-yard touchdown.

The Seahawks, including those on the bench, were pumped up and celebrated Wright's score. They, however, were penalized 15 yards for it, as noted by Tacoma News Tribune's Gregg Bell.
“Seahawks finally get the ‘cost-of-doing-business' unsportsmanlike-conduct penalty for running off the bench to celebrate Jacardia Wright’s 69-yard touchdown burst (in the) first quarter at Tennessee,” wrote Bell on X.
“Most notably, Zach Charbonnet jogged off the sideline to join in. He’s 26 in white here.”
The first quarter ended with Seattle holding a sizable advantage, 16-3, with Jason Myers converting a 48-yard field goal after Wright's touchdown.
The score will definitely boost Wright's confidence and chances of making it to the 53-man roster. The second-year running back only appeared in one game last season. He went undrafted in 2025 out of Missouri State.
The Seahawks beat the Dallas Cowboys, 17-7, in their preseason opener.
As of this writing, Seattle is still ahead of Tennessee, 16-6, in the second quarter.
