With the summer transfer window in its final stages, Chelsea and Xabi Alonso still have a lot of business to conduct before the deadline comes around

While the real business gets underway for Chelsea this evening, supporters will be forgiven for having one eye on the soon-to-be-shutting summer transfer window. As will Blues chiefs.
All of Xabi Alonso's focus, for now, will be on tonight's trip to Fulham. However, the club's sporting leadership team, consisting of five sporting directors, will be working behind the scenes in what is set to be an extremely busy week for the west Londoners.
So, with all this being said, football.london takes a look at what could be considered a 'dream' week for Chelsea in the transfer window.

Enzo Fernandez stays
Many people may have a different outlook given all that has happened this summer but Chelsea should be hoping Enzo Fernandez remains at Stamford Bridge.
It has been an intriguing and noisy transfer saga, fuelled by the Argentine's agent Javier Pastore, and it will be coming to an end - one way or the other - in the next eight days. Throughout the summer, Chelsea sources have been relaxed, even with all the noise going on in the background.

The Blues set a £120million price tag for Fernandez but earlier this month, those terms were taken off the table after Manchester City decided not to engage with their rivals' unofficial deadline. City retain an interest in Fernandez, but the clock is ticking - and that is for the official deadline.
All eyes will be on the official team news when that drops at 6:45pm this evening to see whether Fernandez has made Alonso's first Premier League starting line-up.
Ten deals to get done
Chelsea still have a lot of business to complete before the end of the summer transfer window. At the time of writing, it seems unlikely that the Blues will bring in any more new signings. Although, sources have told football.london not to completely rule out the prospect of another addition.
The main focus, though, will be on shipping off players and trimming down Alonso's squad.
Mamadou Sarr is wanted by Al-Hilal on a permanent basis, but Chelsea have communicated with the Saudi Arabian club that they prefer a loan move for the 20-year-old defender. Sarr has interest from elsewhere in the Premier League in a temporary deal. Aaron Anselmino has been available for loan all summer-long, however the Argentine defender's injury has caused some doubt in that respect.
Chelsea sources expect Tosin Adarabioyo to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis. The 28-year-old former Manchester City defender has interest from elsewhere in the Premier League, as well as from Marseille, Sevilla and Benfica.

Axel Disasi looks set to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal. The Frenchman is expected to move to Selhurst Park on a straight loan deal with the Eagles having no option or obligation to purchase the defender at the end of the campaign.
Dario Essugo could leave on loan before next month's deadline. Chelsea decided last week to make the 21-year-old midfielder available for loan this summer. Blues insiders insist there is interest from the Premier League and overseas in the Portuguese central midfielder.
Leeds United are still trying for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, according to sources. The 25-year-old is available for loan this season and the Whites saw an offer rebuffed last week. Strasbourg remains an option for Mudryk, who has other potential suitors from the Premier League as well.
It is set to be a big few days coming up for Nicolas Jackson in relation to his future. Aston Villa are very keen on the Senegal international, who is valued at £65m by Chelsea. Jackson is understood to be open to switching to Villa Park to reunite with his former Villarreal boss Unai Emery.

Chelsea are open to allowing Jackson to leave. As is the case with Liam Delap, who they value at around £50m. Everton are one of numerous Premier League clubs with a keen interest in the former Ipswich Town striker.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are hoping to offload David Datro Fofana before the September 1 deadline. Sources close to the club are also expecting Marc Guiu to depart on a permanent basis before the window shuts.
