Chelsea have plenty of promising, young players out on loan this season, and The Chelsea Chronicle have put together a guide for how everyone has started off in the 2026/27 season.
The Blues are expected to part ways with plenty more players before the end of the transfer window, and with just a week left a lot of these will be loans.
Despite the desire to permanently sell Benoit Badiashile, Chelsea have had to settle for him leaving on loan, with his move being confirmed over the weekend.

How every Chelsea loanee has started the 2026/27 season
Plenty have already been in action though, and The Chelsea Chronicle have rounded up how everyone has started off at their new clubs in this campaign.
Alejandro Garnacho
Aston Villa have lost a lot of key players this summer, including Morgan Rogers, and this was on full display in their 4-0 defeat to Brighton on the opening weekend.
Alejandro Garnacho was brought on when the game was gone, coming on five minutes before the end to make his first Premier League appearance on loan.
While the Argentine is only on loan, Chelsea are hoping he will make enough appearances to trigger a permanent move away.
Filip Jorgensen
Filip Jorgensen caught the eye with penalty shootout heroics to secure Strasbourg’s first win of pre-season against Newcastle United.
The fellow BlueCo club’s Ligue 1 season got off to the worst possible start, losing 4-0 with Jorgensen in goal.
There is very little optimism around the French club right now, and their supporters will be desperate to see Jorgensen recreate the heroics of Djordje Petrovic and Mike Penders before him.
Ryan Kavuma-McQueen
One of the standout performers so far, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen forced his way into Portsmouth’s starting side after impressing off the bench in his debut.
The teenager took just eight minutes to score on his first senior start, and was frequently a threat down the left in their 3-1 win over Lincoln City.
Dastan Satpayev
Dastan Satpayev has joined Burnley on loan for this season, with Chelsea gaining assurances that he will be in for plenty of minutes as they chase promotion back to the Premier League.
Burnley fans were impressed with Satpayev after he came off the bench in their defeat to West Brom, replacing former Chelsea striker Armando Broja.
Jesse Derry
Jesse Derry has somewhat replaced Geovany Quenda at Sporting, and has made two league appearances already since joining.
There may be concerns already as he has played just 23 minutes so far, after making his Chelsea first team debut last season.

Reggie Walsh
Despite being just 17 and on loan, Reggie Walsh has been handed the number seven shirt at Wigan Athletic for this season in League One.
It looks as if he is rated very highly already, with manager Gary Caldwell raving about Walsh in his post-match interview following his debut.
Ishe Samuels-Smith
Ishe Samuels-Smith is at Notts County for the season, who have drawn their first two games of the League One season.
The Chelsea loanee made his debut for them last time out, playing 17 minutes as he looks to nail down a regular role at left-back.

Max Merrick
It has been the perfect start at Hartlepool for Max Merrick, with their supporters excited by having a goalkeeper who has been in the squad to play in the Champions League before.
In two league games, Merrick has kept two clean sheets in what has been a strong start to life in the National League for the 20-year-old.
Genesis Antwi
Another on loan at Strasbourg, Genesis Antwi played 79 minutes in their dismal 4-0 defeat to Marseille on the opening day of the season.
Harrison Murray-Campbell
Plenty is expected of Harrison Murray-Campbell, who has made the switch to Belgium to play for KV Kortrijk this season.
He has already made his debut for the club off the bench, although will be looking for plenty more minutes as the season progresses.
Ollie Harrison
Midfielder Ollie Harrison has two appearances under his belt already for AFC Wimbledon, playing in League One as well as the EFL Trophy.
Kaiden Wilson
Centre-back Kaiden Wilson started the season at Rochdale on the bench in League Two, but forced himself into the starting side at the weekend for their defeat to Crawley Town.
