Liverpool remain on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and are expected to be active between now and the transfer deadline.
Talks are ongoing for Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG, but neither transfer is believed to be close to being finalised.
In the meantime, Liverpool have already had two offers rejected for Yankuba Minteh, who is currently out injured for Brighton.
And now, Foday Manneh, the local Gambian journalist who has emerged as a bit of a star in this transfer saga, has delivered another update.
Liverpool will make third Yankuba Minteh offer
He wrote on X: βLiverpool are expected to send a third bid to Brighton for Yankuba Minteh either tonight or Monday morning.
βThey have discussed and are ready to go with an improved and convincing offer. The player continues to wait to formalise personal terms.β

The Reds are ready to make another big bid for the winger despite his unavailability for the next 6-8 weeks due to a foot injury.
That goes to show that Minteh is someone they are counting on for the long haul, although it remains to be seen if Brighton stand their ground or budge.
Liverpool donβt have much time left, so they need to press ahead with official offers, whether for Minteh or their other transfer targets.
