Real Madrid forward Endrick may be edging toward a move to Merseyside this summer. Reports suggest Liverpool are preparing a big-money bid for the Brazilian striker, as per the latest transfer news. Real Madrid, though, may not let him go without a fight.
Could Endrick leave the Bernabeu
As reported by talkSPORT, South American football expert Tim Vickery believes the Reds are lining up a big offer this summer. According to him, talk of a move is gaining real pace. However, the fee on the table reportedly sits below what Real Madrid first paid for him. That gap alone could make any deal for Endrick complicated to close.
The 20-year-old joined from Palmeiras back in 2022, in a deal worth close to £51million. He then moved to Spain for good in 2024. First-team minutes at the Bernabeu proved hard to come by, which pushed him out on loan to Lyon from January 2026 onward. His performances caught plenty of eyes across world football, and that also earned him a 2026 World Cup call-up.
Vickery does have his doubts, though. He pointed out that Endrick has not been a flop by any means. In fact, his form on loan makes it hard to say he is worth less now than when Real Madrid signed him. Whether Los Blancos would even agree to sell him to a Champions League rival is a separate question entirely.

The transfer situation building around Liverpool
Liverpool’s business away from this saga has not been smooth either. A move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola has stalled over price. Likewise, Brighton flatly rejected a fresh offer for winger Yankuba Minteh. Both deals now look far from certain. As a result, the club still looks short on attacking options ahead of a tough Premier League season.
According to reports, the Reds have since made direct contact with Real Madrid. The goal was simply to check on Endrick’s availability before deadline day. So far, though, the reply from Madrid has been firm. In fact, there is no sign that formal talks are underway, or that a sale is close at all.
Some reports suggest any deal would need a buy option built in, rather than a straight sale. This shows exactly how careful Liverpool are being with money this window. Even so, it also shows how much the club still rates young quality up front.

Real Madrid’s reluctance is easy to grasp. New signings up front have already added stiff competition for a starting spot. Even so, boss Jose Mourinho reportedly wants Endrick around for the new season. After all, he sees the young forward as a useful option once fixtures pile up.
There is also an interesting side story running through this whole saga. Vickery revealed that one of Endrick’s boyhood heroes is Bobby Charlton, the Manchester United and England great. That small detail alone might raise a few eyebrows among fans, should a move to Anfield ever materialise this window.
Based on how things stand right now, a quick exit still looks unlikely this month. Real Madrid rarely sell to direct rivals, after all. Endrick, too, appears content fighting for his spot at the Bernabeu. Still, with talk refusing to die down, this whole transfer story looks set to run well past the current window.
