Some of the country's biggest clubs will enter the Carabao Cup when the third round draw is made this week.
This season's competition began with two preliminary round matches at the start of the month to decide the first round participants.

Championship promotion hopefuls such as Middlesbrough, West Ham and Wolves were all victorious, while four teams from League Two fought their way into the second round.
They have been joined by 11 Premier League sides including five-time winners Chelsea and former champions Tottenham Hotspur, for the second round.
Ties remain split across northern and southern sections and, once they have been played, all eyes will be fixed on the third round draw.
It will see the introduction of the nine clubs who are competing in European competitions this season, including reigning champions Manchester City.
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Manchester United and Sunderland all enter next.
When is the Carabao Cup third round draw?
The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup will be made on Wednesday, August 26.
It will be conducted during the live broadcast of the second round tie between Preston North End and Everton on Sky Sports.
Full information on the timing of the draw and ball numbers will be released on Tuesday morning.

Carabao Cup third round ball numbers
The third round fixtures will be played during the weeks commencing September 7 and September 14.
Teams will no longer be placed in the northern or southern sections from the third round onwards.
The winners will also have a long wait for the following stage of the competition, which begins on October 26.
