The Baggies are negotiating a deal for the former Barcelona wide man, with discussions understood to be ongoing as they look to get the transfer over the line.

According to reports in Spain, Levante could receive £4.28million overall, with around £2.5m paid upfront and a further £1.7m available in add-ons.

The Spanish club are also reported to have negotiated a 20 per cent sell-on clause for the 21-year-old.

Signing a winger is understood to be one of James Morrison’s priorities, with Mikey Johnston currently the only recognised natural winger in Albion’s squad.

Born in Barcelona to a Nigerian father and Spanish mother, Tunde joined Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy from Espanyol in 2017.

His time at the Catalan club lasted only a few years before he moved to CF Damm, where he spent two seasons, before joining Levante’s academy.

Tunde progressed through the club’s youth ranks before making his senior debut for Levante B in January 2024. He subsequently signed a new contract until 2026, with the option of a further three years.

After establishing himself as a regular starter for the B team, Tunde made his first-team and La Liga debut in December last year, coming on as a second-half substitute against Real Sociedad.

The winger further extended his Levante contract in March, committing his future to the club until 2029.

However, Tunde could now be heading for the West Midlands, with Albion in negotiations over a deal for the exciting winger.

Reports in Spain claim Tunde did not travel with Levante to El Sadar today for their second league game of the season against Osasuna as he awaits the completion of a potential move to the Championship.
