Arsenal value Myles Lewis-Skelly at more than £50 million as Manchester United continue to explore a move for the academy graduate. Mikel Arteta remains confident the 19-year-old will stay after starting both of Arsenal’s opening matches this season.
The Sun reports that United still believe Arsenal could be persuaded to sell Lewis-Skelly as Michael Carrick searches for another left-back.
However, Arsenal’s valuation sits above £50 million, while United reportedly consider that figure excessive. There is no indication that the clubs have agreed a fee or that Arsenal are preparing to accept an offer.

Myles Lewis-Skelly transfer stance remains firm
Lewis-Skelly started in midfield during Arsenal’s 3-0 Community Shield victory over Manchester City before retaining his place for Friday’s 3-0 win against Coventry.
His growing importance has strengthened Arteta’s determination to keep him, despite competition from Declan Rice, Martín Zubimendi and summer signing Bruno Guimarães.
Sky Sports reported that Arteta said he was “100 per cent” confident Lewis-Skelly would remain at Arsenal.
The Arsenal manager also stressed the value of academy graduates who understand the club and share a connection with its supporters.
