49ers owner arrested in East Palestine: Court records

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WOIO) - San Francisco 49ers owner [John “Jed” York](https://www.49ers.com/team/front-office-roster/jed-york) was arrested in Northeast Ohio over the weekend.

According to court records, York was found guilty of two misdemeanor charges: possessing criminal tools and disorderly conduct.

He was arrested Sunday in East Palestine and posted $5,000 bond, and pleaded no contest Monday to the charges.

York was sentenced to two days in the Columbiana County Jail, to be served concurrently, and ordered to pay $1,150 in fines.

Records show that a cell phone was ordered to be returned to York and $160 seized shall be forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force as part of the agreement.

An expungement request has also been filed, according to the court docket.

19 News has requested comment from the 49ers but has not heard back.
