Liverpool's Premier League campaign is finally underway, but the first clash of the season against Newcastle United proved there is still plenty of work to be done if the team is to compete at the top.
The Reds settled for a 2-2 draw at St. James' Park, as Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai helped Andoni Iraola earn his first point as manager, battling back twice to seal it.
While the season is just starting, the transfer window is coming to an end, with just one week left in the market for Liverpool to get any final deals in or out of the club completed.
There are some big moves being prepared, particularly in the wide areas, while some exits could be on the cards for other options in the locker room.

Liverpool is preparing a third bid for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh, according to journalist Foday Manneh, who broke the news of the first two offers.
It's claimed that the Reds have discussed the move again, following the £50 million ($68.2 million) and £60 million ($81.9 million) deals being turned down, and are ready to return to the negotiating table.
The Gambian international is waiting to formalize his personal terms, after reports claimed that he was keen on a move to Anfield in the final week of the transfer window.
It remains to be seen what the third offer could come to, with suggestions that Brighton value Minteh at £70 million ($95.5 million).
Liverpool.com says: Liverpool's push to sign Minteh is likely to see a deal go through, otherwise it feels as though the Reds would be looking elsewhere on the market by now.
A deal at $95.5 million could prove costly, especially because he is injured for the next few weeks, but Iraola could finally land a natural wide player on the right who could hold that position for years to come.

Liverpool-linked midfielder Alex Scott continues to attract attention across the Premier League, following an impressive campaign with Bournemouth last time out.
The 23-year-old has been rumored with interest from the Reds, but it appears to be Chelsea that is pushing hardest to land the star this summer.
TeamTalk claims that the Blues are preparing an offer that could reach £85 million ($116 million) for Scott, should they lose Enzo Fernandez in the final few days of the transfer market.
Bournemouth has set a stance of no sale for the England international, but with his dwindling contract situation, Chelsea appears open to testing the club's resolve.
Liverpool.com says: Scott could add some extra depth and quality at Liverpool, but it seems clear that the midfield isn't a priority for the team right now.
There are concerns over the need for a number six at the heart of the central ranks, but the Bournemouth ace wouldn't exactly provide that skillset which would be required.
Add to that the potential need to match any Chelsea bid, should one be accepted, and it may be a costly deal that doesn't move the needle immediately for Liverpool with the current options available.
