Chelsea midfielder Lola Brown has signed a new contract with the club, committing her future to the Blues until at least 2029, according to reports.
Brown, regarded as one of the promising young talents to emerge from Chelsea’s academy, has continued her development at the club since joining during the 2019/20 season.
The midfielder agreed her first professional contract with Chelsea in November 2024, aged just 17, marking another significant step in her progression through the club’s youth system.
Her latest agreement underlines Chelsea’s confidence in Brown’s potential and represents a long-term commitment to a player the club has nurtured for several years.
On signing her new deal, Brown said: ‘It feels amazing. I’m super proud. It’s a club I always wanted to sign a professional contract with, so to sign my second one is an amazing feeling.
‘CHELSEA have developed me from a young age, and I can see how much I have developed here and how much I continue to develop.
‘Being around this environment and learning from the best helps you progress as a player. Now I want to win as many trophies as possible, and on a personal level I want to score my first professional goal as a Chelsea player.’
Chelsea have invested heavily in developing young players in recent years, with academy graduates and emerging talents increasingly forming an important part of the club’s long-term planning.
Brown’s new contract through 2029 therefore fits into a broader strategy of securing promising players for the future while allowing them time to develop within the Chelsea environment.
The extension is also a strong indication that CHELSEA see Brown as part of their plans beyond the immediate future. After more than six years at the club, the midfielder has now secured her long-term position in west London and will look to continue her rise with the Blues.
