Manchester United target Alejandro Balde has been valued at €45million (£38.5m) by Barcelona, talkSPORT understands.
However, the Red Devils would prefer a loan deal for the left-back.

Clubs have until 11pm on Tuesday, September 1 to complete their summer business.

United remain in the market for a new left-back as they look to provide competition for Luke Shaw.
talkSPORT revealed last week that Balde had been identified as a target for the position along with RB Leipzig's David Raum.
Michael Carrick's side have sourced alternative options to top target Lewis Hall, who looks set to remain at Newcastle United.
Barca's €45million asking price for Balde could prove a stumbling block for United, though.
With a loan move for the 22-year-old preferred, sources at Old Trafford have played down the prospect of a deal being completed.
The doubts over Balde joining the club before next week's deadline come after he was absent from Barcelona's LaLiga opener.

Hansi Flick's side won 5-0 away at Elche on Sunday as they kickstarted their title defence.
However, there was no place in the matchday squad for Balde as fellow La Masia graduate Xavi Espart started at left-back.

Balde is already a three-time LaLiga champion with Barcelona since making his league debut as a 17-year-old in 2021.

European football journalist Andy Brassell has tipped the defender, who has seven caps for Spain, for success in the Premier League.
Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, Brassell explained: "I think he'd be great for United. The possibility must be alive because Hansi Flick talked about it after the game against Elche.
"He explained that he'd left out Balde because he didn't feel his head was in the right place.
"It's a bit of a shame from a Barcelona perspective because he's someone who's come through and made a massive difference there.
"He's just so composed on the ball. Clearly, when they're looking for a Lewis Hall-type of left-back, that's what they're looking for.

Balde's composure on the ball would help him succeed in England, says Brassell
"Someone who's composed on the ball, someone who is really good in possession and someone who's mobile. To play in that position and very rarely give the ball away is a huge thing.
"To be defensively sound on top of that, which he is, he makes very few fouls as well. If you're thinking about great United teams, he would be a good left-back in a great United team.
"That's how good he is, in my opinion. You're looking at someone who's still only 22 years old as well."
