Chelsea may have started the season with three points, but the win at Fulham highlighted a major issue that needs addressing.
Despite spending £350million over the summer, it is clear the Blues don't possess a keeper fit for a title challenge. Robert Sanchez should have done much better for both of Fulham's goals, producing a weak attempt to keep out Josh King's effort and then palming the ball into a dangerous area for Gonzalo Garcia's strike.
Sanchez's performance gave new boss Xabi Alonso a real headache as he attempts to mastermind a top-four challenge at least, with various pundits calling on Chelsea to sign a top-class keeper before the window shuts. Here are seven options the Blues could potentially turn to…
Emi Martinez
The Argentine is certainly available after Aston Villa signed Japan stopper Zion Suzuki as their new number one. Martinez almost joined Juventus earlier in the window, only for that deal to fall through.
If he wants first-team football, Martinez needs to find a new club before next Tuesday. There's no reason why that can't be Chelsea. The fee won't be astronomical and he'll know many of the players already.

Gregor Kobel
The Borussia Dortmund stopper is on Chelsea's radar, having been linked with the Blues previously. The German giants would be reluctant to let their number one leave so late in the day but with two years left on his contract, a chunky Chelsea bid could make them think twice. At 28, he is a great age and is regarded by many as the best keeper in the Bundesliga.
Diogo Costa
Need a fine shot-stopper who's good with the ball at his feet? Then Chelsea can do much worse than Porto and Portugal's Diogo Costa. Regarded as one of the finest stoppers in Europe - and an excellent penalty-saver to boot - Costa is exactly what the Blues need.

Marco Carnesecchi
Atalanta has become a ripe hunting ground for Premier League clubs, and Carnesecchi could be the next cab off the rank. The Italian was linked to the Blues earlier this summer, while Bayern Munich are also said to be interested. A big fee would be required but the Serie A side have proved they are willing to haggle.
Bart Verbruggen
This list wouldn't be complete without a Brighton player on it, so why don't Chelsea test the Seagulls' resolve (again) with a cheeky bid for Verbruggen?
At just 24, the Dutch keeper looks to have an extremely bright future ahead of him. Brighton would, naturally, want a big fee but with the clubs' respective negotiators presumably like family now, don't rule it out.

Ugurcan Cakir
Cakir has lived up to his billing as Turkey's most expensive goalkeeper since joining Galatasaray from Trabzonspor. An imposing presence, he wouldn't be daunted by the Premier League, having played in the Istanbul pressure-cooker. However, he wouldn't come cheap.
Unai Simon
After winning the World Cup with Spain, Simon's already high stock has gone up even further as he continues to keep David Raya out of the national team.
The 29-year-old is yet to play for a European giant, having spent the majority of his senior career at Athletic Club of Bilbao. Could now be the moment? He would certainly be a welcome addition to the Blues' ranks.
