Match Referee
The Premier League have this week confirmed that West Yorkshire official Andy Madley will be the on-field match referee for Manchester City's meeting with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The 42-year-old will be taking on his first match of the brand new Premier League season, having overseen contests in UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League qualification so far in mid-July and mid-August respectively.
To date, Madley has been the on-field match referee in 17 matches involving Manchester City, with 12 of those outings results in victory for the Sky Blues - two ending in a draw, and three resulting in defeat.
In those contests, City have received a total of 16 yellow cards and no red cards, whilst also being awarded two penalties in their favour.
Assistant Referees
Accompanying Andy Madley on the pitch at Selhurst Park on Friday night will be an assistant referee pairing of Gary Beswick and Adrian Holmes, the Premier League have confirmed.

Overseeing Crystal Palace against Manchester City from Stockley Park's VAR Hub will be Stuart Attwell in the role of Video Assistant Referee, supported by Edward Smart as Assistant Video Assistant Referee.
