Gabriel Martinelli is reportedly set to travel to Riyadh today to complete a move to Al-Hilal. According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, a deal worth around €59million has been agreed between Arsenal and the Saudi Pro League club.
The 25-year-old Brazil international has been left out of Arsenal’s matchday squads for the Community Shield and the Premier League opener against Coventry. He previously rejected a €45million approach from Galatasaray and became more open to a Saudi move after clear conversations about his squad status.

Arsenal had been seeking a figure close to £60million. The proposed fee would represent a substantial return on the player who joined from Ituano in 2019 and made 278 appearances, scoring 62 goals, including a contribution to last season’s Premier League title.
Martinelli remains under contract until 2027 with an option for a further year. Al-Hilal are understood to be offering a significant salary increase to secure the winger.
