Fenerbahce have opened talks over a loan move for Arsenal defender Cristhian Mosquera. The Turkey club’s head coach Ismail Kartal has personally requested the 22-year-old Spain Under-21 international as they look to strengthen their defence.
Mosquera joined Arsenal from Valencia for £13million plus add-ons last summer and signed a five-year contract. He enjoyed a strong debut season, stepping in for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes when required and also featuring at right-back, including a start in the Champions League final.
