Start time: The 2026 event takes place at the Manchester Opera House, with the red carpet fan-pens opening at 2.30pm BST. The official indoor ceremony and the announcement of the headline awards will take place later in the evening, generally getting underway around 7.30pm BST.
Award categories: The event celebrates the top talent across English football, headlined by the men's and women's PFA Players' Player of the Year and the Men's and Women's PFA Young Player of the Year awards. The ceremony will also present the prestigious PFA Merit Award, recognise Community Champions and crown the Players' Player of the Year across the Championship, League One, League Two and the WSL2.

In the Women's top category, former winner Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw faces a stellar shortlist that includes Arsenal's Alessia Russo, Chelsea's Lauren James, City team-mate Yui Hasegawa, United's Jess Park and Aston Villa's Kirsty Hanson.
