Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković has jetted in to Barcelona to sign for Hansi Flick’s side and complete a move to the Camp Nou.

The stopper was spotted arriving in the city on Tuesday afternoon. He’s reportedly set for a medical at the club tomorrow and will then sign a contract with the club until 2030.

Livaković is expected to become Barcelona’s back-up to Joan Garcia after completing his transfer, although it’s not quite clear whether that will be this season or next.

It has previously been reported that Livaković would go out on loan for the 2026-27 campaign and then take over from Wojciech Szczęsny next season when the veteran’s contract expires.

However, other reports have since claimed that Livaković will actually be Garcia’s back-up this season and Szczesny will drop down to third choice. Much may depend on Barca’s financial situation and if there’s room on the wage bill.

Barcelona have shelled out around €4 million for Livakovic, with the club paying an initial €2m and another €2m due in add-ons.
