The NFL has taken a page out of the NBA's book with NFL Rivalry uniforms. The alternate jerseys worn in much-anticipated divisional matchups are reminiscent of the NBA's City Edition jerseys, and the Indianapolis Colts were the most recent team to announce their new and colorful threads.
Legends in the state of Indiana, Tyrese Haliburton, Pat McAfee, and Kelsey Mitchell, teamed up with Colts quarterback Daniel Jones to unveil the new jerseys, which have been coined “The Anvil Strike.”
The new jerseys are dark grey with blue and white accents, and McAfee pointed out that fans have long awaited blue helmets.
“The blue helmet, people have been asking for this for a long time,” McAfee informed Haliburton. “The Colts are blue; the mascot's name is ‘Blue.' They are tough, too.”

In addition to the helmets being blue, this will be the first time that the horseshoe logo is on the jersey. However, not everyone is stoked on the new uniforms. Some fans have compared the jerseys to the Buffalo Bills' new alternate uniforms, which were not well received.
The Colts took more creative liberties than the Bills did, though, not only adding a much-anticipated new helmet color but also a unique jersey color as well. Despite some criticism, the Colts will fit the moniker of look good, play good.
